Frequently asked questions
Below you will find answers to the questions we most frequently receive about our insoles. If your question is not listed, please feel free to contact us.
How do I know which insole I need?
First, determine your goal: daily comfort, sports, work, or a specific complaint such as plantar fasciitis or overpronation. Then, choose an insole designed for that use. Our selection guide will help you step-by-step.
What size should I choose?
Go by your normal shoe size. Many insoles can be easily trimmed along the size marking at the front for a perfect fit in your shoe.
Do the insoles fit in all my shoes?
In most shoes, yes. First, remove the existing factory insole and then insert the Bracefox insole. For tight, flat, or safety shoes, choose a slim profile.
Do I need to break in the insoles?
Yes. Wear a new insole for a few hours during the first few days and gradually increase the wear time. This allows your feet to adapt to the new support without overexertion.
How do I clean my insoles?
Remove the insoles from your shoes and clean them by hand with lukewarm water and mild soap. Let them air dry. Do not put them in the washing machine or dryer, as this will damage the material.
How long do insoles last?
With daily use, an average of 6 to 12 months. With intensive sports or heavy work, shorter. Replace them when the cushioning or support noticeably wears down.
Can I return them if I'm not satisfied?
After receipt, you have a 14-day legal cooling-off period to return your order. You can read the exact conditions on our Shipping & Returns page.
Are Bracefox insoles medically substantiated?
Our insoles are developed with podiatric expertise, supported by insights from over 20,000 patient treatments. They offer targeted support and cushioning but are not a substitute for medical advice for severe or persistent complaints.
